A good friend of mine came to dinner recently, and his explosive smile and skip in his step intrigued me. I’d never seen George look better. “What’s up?” I asked… With that, he shared his discovery with my husband and me. I must say, I’ve never heard such excitement! George is a man who cares deeply about others, so he was bursting to pass along how we too could receive the benefits of what he was enjoying… When one has the opportunity to affirm others with positive experiences and information, that’s life at its best – don’t you agree?

While growing up, there was a phrase my family always used to wish others well:
“Health, Happiness and Prosperity!” That sounded like an enticing goal. Challenging, yet attainable. So, with that notion in mind, I set out at 15 years old to make my mark.
I’ve stayed in shape over the years by playing sports and working out. Of course, raising kids and endless tasks keep most of us in high gear! By the way, I just turned sixty and have three children: Aimee (41), Reis (28), Cooper (21) and four grandkids!
MEDICINE VS. VITAMINS
When used judicially, I’ve always had enormous respect for the field of medicine - especially when Doctors helped save my life during three near-death experiences. And then , of course, there are those bouts with various conditions that require medicines for our cure. But aside from “emergencies”, my first inclination has always been to go “holistic” whenever possible for recovery as well as on-going maintenance and support of my health. In fact, as an adult I’ve made a life-long study of the importance of a balanced diet, exercise, supplements and vitamins.
