WELCOME TO HOPE & HEALING AT HILLENGLADE, LITTLE JILL...As you all know, we had Jack & Jill on the Hill for the little kids at our Events. Unfortunately, we lost Jill to founder about six months ago...She left a big hole in everyone's heart, especially Jack, who we were able to save, but was turning into a very lonely pony without a buddy. Our new Jill is a little bigger than Jack...She's a four-year-old pony, sweet on fire...We will be working with her to offer pony rides by our next season's Celebrations.
Thank you all for your prayers of healing. There are no words of gratitude that can express my thanksgiving...I am on my second week at home, convalescing from my near-death round with a burst appendix. The good news is that I am on the mend and our HHH Board is gathering for our December 5th annual Board Meeting to discuss and pray over Hope & Healing at Hillenglade's 2016 vision and calendar.
Please note that our efforts to finance a cover for our round pen, so we here at Hillenglade can offer year-round Equine Assisted Programs of healing, was sidetracked with my now month-long bout with health issues...But the good news is that we have a phenomenal and growing team of Board Members that are "chomping at the bit" to pick up where we left off and continue to pursue our vision. Of course, all prayers and any kind of partnership/financial support would be beyond appreciated. What I do know without question is that God is in control and when He's ready to expand Hillenglade's purposes and territory for His glory, there will be nothing that can stand in the way of fulfilling our vision as long as it's in alignment with His!!!
I love you all dearly and can't wait to see you all in person soon soon soon! XOXO Jen
All of us here at Hope & Healing at Hillenglade wish you and yours a Thanksgiving full of gratitude, grace, peace, renewed purpose, rest, and an ever deeper relationship with, and reliance on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the glory of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
On a personal note, I'm sorry I've been out of the loop lately...I have been in the hospital from November 1-18 fighting a misdiagnosed burst appendix/surgery/spiking temps and blood pressure bouts. As I looked up from my bed to find my children and family standing vigil over what seemed to be the end of my life, God miraculously spared me through the power of intercessory prayer from so many...I'm on the mend through His grace. Thank you all for your continued caring prayers and covering...PRAYERS WORK!!!
I am humbled and grateful for God's plan and purpose in my life...All the glory goes to Him in Jesus' name.
Grace & Peace,
